Second Mile Ministries exists to demonstrate God's love and hope by walking the extra mile with individuals and organizations in need, providing both tangible resources and the truth of His Word, as commanded by Jesus in Matthew 5:41.
Our 6th Annual No Longer Fatherless Gala is coming up on Saturday November 21, 2026, at 6PM at The Shores Resort & Spa! What should you expect? Cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres & drinks, silent auction, dinner, entertainment, dessert, coffee, and a presentation from our organization about all the impact we have seen in 2026.
While these fundraisers are crucial for our annual budget, the most important thing to remember is the impact being made with the support we receive. The organization has grown to over 100 mentors with over 100 boys and about 30 boys on our waiting list. Our goal for the year is to add 50 new mentors and we have trained 34 so far!

All funds raised go directly toward our mission to recruit, train, and match mentors with boys growing up without a father figure in Volusia and Flagler County.
