A family of lions is known as a “pride”. Most lions will remain in the same pride their entire lives. A pride of lions exists to protect each other, provide for each other, train the new generation, and be there for each other. With our No Longer Fatherless LION PRIDE, we hope to create a community of supporters who believe in our mission to mentor, equip, and empower boys to become successful men.

Growing up without a father figure can lead to prison, high school dropouts, drug use, fighting, runaways, and even youth suicide. Mentoring changes that! Multiple NLF mentors have been called “dad” by their mentees; it just shows how much these mentors mean to them. We have testimonials of mothers within our program who were in tears, talking about how much our mentors mean to their family. The fatherless issue is real, it is rampant, and it can be devastating, but there is a solution.

It costs approximately $500 per year, or $42 per month, to sponsor a boy for our program. These costs go toward group activities, life skill courses, events, mentor trainings, spreading awareness, and administrative costs.
