Why Casey runs
"I have now lived more of my life without my dad than I was able to live with him."
Casey was 18 when he lost his dad in a four-wheeler accident. Becoming a husband, a father and a business owner, there were countless moments he wished he could just pick up the phone and call him.
Running started as a way to become a better version of himself for his kids. Today he's a coach and runs his own business, and running is what keeps him grounded. He's finished the Leadville 100, the Long Haul 100 and the Keys 100. He believes this will be the hardest thing he's ever done. That's why he's doing it.
